I’m late to the party on this one but I am going to add my two cents anyway. This happened in January before I had this blog so I didn’t even know about it until yesterday. Apparently this guy wrote a blog post titled “The Problem with Romance Novels”. I am not going to mention his name or link to his blog because I don’t want to drive traffic to his site because he is an idiot and that is what he wants. You could easily google it and find it but I ask that you don’t because that will make him seem more important than he is. He is a nobody and I would like it to remain that way. Apparently when he wrote this piece a lot of romance readers and writers tried to comment on his blog but he would delete their comments but the blog post was talked about quite a bit in the romance community. My friend died the other day. He used to work for me and recently moved after he got divorced. He and I had a similar interest in science, particularly astronomy. About a month ago he had a small stroke and went to the doctor. It was a minor stroke and he was ok but the doctor wanted to run tests to find out what caused such a young man to have a stroke. The test consisted of running a little camera into his heart and during the test he went into cardiac arrest and died. Read more [...]

The other night on Mother’s Day my wife and I got into bed and I said “I’m all yours baby, tell me what you want”. She looked at me and said “vanilla sex”. When my wife and I were dating and started having sex we were like most people. Every time we had sex we felt like we had to try something new just to be different. We tried every position imaginable and even made up a few of our own. One time I remember we wound up with my nose in her arm pit and her foot on my ear and to this day I still can’t figure out how we did that. After a while of much experimenting and talking we figured out what we each like and fell into a routine of vanilla sex as BDSM experts would call it. And to this day that is mostly what we do.
