Yeah Luci, I don't get the rape thing either. My wife said she was just kidding and does not have rape fantasies but apparently alot of women do. It's on every list I've seen.
The rape thing is explained in Flower Garden or whatever that book of women's fantasies was: basically because women aren't "allowed" to be sexually pro-active, the rape fantasy is one where you're forced to do the things you can't admit that you want to do. I'm given to understand that they're less common than they used to be, but still prevalent.
I don't get that Noirem, women can be sexually pro-active.
At the risk of being a freak of the week, and I know this is an old post, try reading Carnal Harvest by Robin L Rotham. Maya Banks also addresses this fantasy in her story "Pillow Talk". Both are based on "fantasy" rape. I don't think any woman truly fantasies about being raped in what would be considered "real life". I have to say that I am surprised at the judgement I sense with regards to this since everyone seems so open about everything else.
I see this is an old post, but I just have to say I laughed my ass of at your wife asking "Who?" I'm not into the whole rape fantasy, but can the merits to some of the others. The person who last commented explains it pretty well, however it seems to me the women wanted a complete lack of control. Makes me think of the BDSM books I read. I personally think the women surveyed who had the fantasy were women who wanted an excuse to give over all control. Me personally some man tries to come at me like that I'm going to try to feed him his balls, and for my husbands sake pray he never tries to surprise me like that.
